You may use this website to browse our tours and to make genuine bookings. You must not use it to make speculative, false or fraudulent bookings, or for any other purpose.
All content on this website, including text, photographs, maps and logos, belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute it without our written permission. You are welcome to link to our pages, but you may not frame or embed our content on another website. Unauthorised use may breach copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws.
2. Changes to the website and these terms
We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of this website at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or anyone else for any such change, suspension or withdrawal, including where it is caused by circumstances beyond our control.
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, and if you continue to use the website after a change, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the website.
3. Privacy
We keep the personal information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and postal address, confidential. We use it only to respond to your enquiry and to arrange and manage your booking. We protect it from unauthorised access and use, and we never sell it. We only share it where this is needed to deliver your tour, for example with the accommodation where you will stay, or where the law requires it.
Card payments are handled securely by PayPal, so we never see or store your card details.
4. Bookings and payment
When you enquire, we send you a no-obligation pro forma invoice showing your itinerary and price.
Please check that the invoice matches the price agreed with us by email or phone.
Prices are charged in South African rand (ZAR) or British pounds (GBP).
You can pay by EFT (we will send you our banking details) or by card through PayPal. PayPal transaction fees apply.
Overnight tours: a 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Full payment must be received before your tour departs. No tour departs until it has been paid in full.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing, by email.
Cancellation charges apply only to confirmed bookings that have been paid.
Cancellation charges:
31 days or less before departure: 25% of the tour price
No-show: 50% of the tour price
We understand that clients only cancel because of circumstances they could not foresee. If you need to cancel, we will first try to move your tour to another date. Where a refund is due, we will refund as much of your deposit as we can, and we will work with our accommodation providers to recover any amounts we have already paid.
6. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers take out travel insurance covering cancellation, illness, medical costs and loss of luggage. Your travel agent or insurer can advise you. You are responsible for arranging your own insurance, and we are not liable for any loss that adequate insurance would have covered.
7. Your safety and our responsibility
Safari and outdoor activities carry some risk, and you take part in all activities on your itinerary at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for death, injury, illness, or loss of or damage to personal belongings during a tour.
8. Changes to tours
Occasionally we may need to change an itinerary or route, for example because of weather, road conditions, park rules or the availability of accommodation. If this happens, we will provide a suitable alternative.
