Do you collect from my Durban hotel?
Yes. We arrange collection from hotels and guesthouses anywhere in Durban.
What vehicles do you use?
Our tours use air-conditioned vehicles.
What is included in the price?
Every safari includes a qualified guide, transport, mineral water, a snack pack and all gate entrance fees. Overnight safaris also include accommodation, breakfasts, dinners and a St Lucia boat cruise.
What is not included?
Personal expenses, lunches, additional drinks and personal and medical insurance.
How do I pay?
We accept South African rand and British pounds, by EFT or PayPal. Card processing fees apply. No tour departs until the full amount has been paid.
Can I change an itinerary?
Yes. We welcome changes and will amend packages on request.
How many guests do I need?
Our safaris run for a minimum of 2 guests. Ask us about group discounts.
Which languages do you guide in?
English. Italian and German are available on request.
Will we see the Big 5?
We cannot guarantee sightings because the animals are wild. Our guides know the park and will look for lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant.
How far is Hluhluwe-iMfolozi from Durban?
About 280 km, roughly three hours each way. Day safaris therefore last about 12 hours.
What should I bring?
A hat, sunscreen, binoculars and a camera. Early mornings can be cool, so pack a light jacket.
Is smoking allowed?
There is a no-smoking policy in all vehicles. There are designated smoking areas along the routes.
Do I need travel insurance?
We recommend personal and medical insurance for your stay.
Should I check malaria advice?
Yes. Check current advice with your doctor or a travel clinic before you travel.
